Delimited Files Delimited
files use a special character, such as a comma, to separate the different fields
of the file. When a comma is used it tends to be called a CSV file.
Other common delimited files use semicolons and tabs as the delimiter.

Standard 18 Files
Standard 18 (AKA BACS18 or BACS Format) is the native file format for BACS submissions. Many accounts and financial packages create a output file in standard 18 format of varying quality.
