Delimited Files

Delimited files use a special character, such as a comma, to separate the different fields of the file.  When a comma is used it tends to be called a CSV file.  Other common delimited files use semicolons and tabs as the delimiter.  PayGate BACS can read almost any delimited file.  To manage a delimited importer, follow this link.


 

Fixed Length Files

In a fixed length file the individual fields in a file are a constant or fixed length.  PayGate Desktop can read almost any fixed length file.  To manage a fixed length importer, follow this link.

 

Legacy Format Files

Legacy format files are simple semicolon separated files used in PayGate and Bacsess-IP products.  It is included to allow our longstanding customers to easily migrate to PayGate Desktop . To manage a legacy importer, follow this link .

Standard 18 Files

Standard 18 (AKA BACS18 or BACS Format) is the native file format for BACS submissions.  Many accounts and financial packages create a output file in standard 18 format of varying quality.  PayGate BACS can read almost any standard 18 generated file.  To manage a Standard 18 importer, follow this link .
