Suspending a User Account

You can suspend a user’s PayGate Desktop account. Suspending a PayGate user account will prevent the user from authenticating (logging in) to PayGate Desktop but will keep their account and it’s configuration intact.

A suspended account can later be enabled which will, once again, allow the user access to the system.

To suspend a user account follow these steps:

Log into PayGate Desktop with the admin account
Navigate to Admin > Users > Manage Users
Select a user from the list of PayGate Desktop users
Scroll down the ‘Configure a User’ page until you see a setting marked ‘Status’.

To suspend an account, un-tick the check box marked ‘Approved’.

Note:

Ticked box -> Normal state for a user account

Un-ticked Box - > Account is suspended and user is prevented from logging in.
