The following user-definable limits are specific to a particular user account.
Payment Limit
This is the maximum
amount for an individual payment instruction within a payment
submission.
The default value is 0, which PayGate interprets as
there being no limit.
Submission Limit
This is
the maximum amount for a single BACS submission. It is the maximum
aggregate value of the individual credits within a submission.
The default value is 0, which PayGate interprets as
there being no limit.
Approval Limit
This is the
maximum submission amount that a user with the approval role can approve.
If a user has an approval limit of £100,000 they are able to approve any
submission value up to and including
£100,000. The default value is 0, which PayGate interprets
as there being no limit.
Relationship with Group
Limits
Payment and submission limits can also be applied at the
group level. When group and user limits are both in force the following
rule applies.
A specific limit is determined
by whichever limit is the lowest in value.
