Locked User Accounts

If a user unsuccessfully attempts to login to PayGate on 5 consecutive occasions then their user account will become locked. 

A locked user account cannot be used to log into PayGate, even when the correct login information is used.      

Before a locked user account can be used it must be unlocked.

Unlocking a locked user account

To unlock a locked PayGate user account carry out the following steps

 

• Log into PayGate Desktop using the admin account Navigate to Admin > Users > Manage Users
• Select the user from the list with the locked account.
• In the ‘Configure a User’ page you will see ‘Locked’ next to the user’s username.

• Scroll down the page until you find the button marked ‘Unlock User’.
• Click the ‘Unlock User’ button to unlock their user account.

 

 

The unlocked account is now ready to use again.
