To change a user's avatar

Click the 'Select' button next to the current avatar.
Browse to a suitable image file. Images must be either .jpg, .gif or .png format. The image size will be adjusted automatically and so there is no benefit to choosing a large image, in fact a large image could affect system performance.
Click 'Open' to slect the image file.

The new image file will start to be used. Bare in mind that some browsers cache image files and so it may take a number of minutes to see the changes.

The default avatar

A default avatar is used whenever a new user account is created. The default image is shown below
