After creating a SEPA payment file it must be approved before it becomes available.
The Approval Process
Users, in the PayGate Group that the SEPA file was created it, that are members of the 'Approval' group role will receive an automated 'Approval' action message when a SEPA payment is created.
Note: The exact approval criteria for approving a SEPA payment file depends on a number of factors incuding the configuration of the PayGate Group and the configuration of the security policy.
Opening the Approval action will reveal important information about the payment. The approver should carefully read the information in order to understand what it is they are being asked to approve.

The individual transactions can be viewed by clicking the 'View Transactions' button.
You can also see a summary of the history of the payment file so far. In the image below we can see who created the original payment file and when they did it. If the payment file required more than one approver and the first approver has already added their approval; you would also see their entry.
To approve the payment click the blue 'Approve' button.
