You can test the connection between you local copy of PayGate Agent and the online PayGate Cloud. Click the button 'Test Settings' which can be found in the bottom left hand corner of the Agent Configuration window.
This will start the communications test procedure. The procedure contains the following steps
Results of the test are logged in the Agent Log View. A successful test which communications fully working between Agent and PayGate Cloud look like the following:
Any error are also logged in the log view helping you to determine the cause of the problem. For example, in the image below, an incorrect service address has been configured
In the results shown below the connection was established but there is a problem with the login credentials:
