Firewall Access

The PayGate Agent requires inbound and outbound access to the PayGate Cloud.  The Agent communicates with the cloud via SFTP (SSH File Transfer) using TCP on port 22.  During the Agent installation process the installer will add a rule to the local Windows Firewall to allow the Agent access on this TCP port.  The rule can be viewed in the Firewall management application and has the name 'PayGate Agent SFTP'






If your corporate environment has other firewalls or other edge security devices, similar rules will need to be configured to allow the Agent to access the PayGate Cloud on TCP port 22.
