Proxy Server Configuration
If your organisation uses a proxy server for accessing the Internet you can tell PayGate about the proxy server settings here. PayGate will use these settings when accessing the Internet during file submission to BACS, collecting BACS reports and using PayGate services such as updating payment reference data and account number validation.
Explanation When ticked PayGate will use the proxy
server settings to connect to the Internet. The hostname or IP address of the proxy
server that PayGate BACS will use to connect to the Internet. The TCP port that the proxy server is
listening on. E.g. 8080. When ticked PayGate will attempt to
authenticate to the proxy server using the authentication details
below. The username that PayGate will use when
attempting to authenticate to the proxy server. The password that PayGate will use when
attempting to authenticate to the proxy server. The domain that the above account is a
member of.

SMTP Settings
You can configure PayGate to use your organisation's SMTP email server. Using this feature PayGate will mail your users to alert them that they have received an action.

The email 'from address' that PayGate will use in all outbound emails to your users.
