Before you can make use of BACS service, such as making a submission or
downloading a report, you must authenticate to BACS. In order to
authenticate to BACS you will need a valid smartcard issued by your bank and the
PIN for the smartcard. Place the smartcard into the smartcard reader
connected to your PC. When prompted click the ‘Sign’ button on the
e-Signer popup.
You will be prompted to enter the smart card
PIN. Enter the PIN to the
PIN entry text box. Note, depending on your own version of the e-Signer
software, you're screen may show a slightly different window to the one
shown here.
Click OK to complete the authentication procedure.
